On September 29, 2022, the new Consumer Protection Act (ZvPot-1) was adopted. The consumer no longer has the right to choose between claims in the event of a material error, as the law classifies them hierarchically. The important change is the extension of the deadline for assuming that the product defect already existed at the time of delivery, if it appears within a period of 12 months (previously 6 months).
